A mortgage offer (hypotheekofferte), now usually a binding proposal (bindend aanbod), sets out the interest rate, term and conditions of your loan. You receive it after the lender assesses your application, income and documents, and it is valid for a set period in which you can accept. Once accepted, it forms the basis for the mortgage deed at the notary.
What is a mortgage offer (hypotheekofferte) and is it binding?
